Summary
As a gifted empath, super intuitive healer, and spiritual coach (known by many as the “Crystal Queen”), Amy Robeson teaches powerful spiritual systems including crystalline energy, the Akashic Records, and other modalities that help her global community create success and abundance from the inside out.
But as her business first started to expand, the operational reality behind the scenes started to look like a familiar story we see all the time:
A growing audience + more offers + more launches…often leads to a stack of tools, duplicated systems, and fragile processes that are hard to maintain, especially when a team member suddenly becomes unavailable.
Amy Robeson knew that she wanted to grow her already successful spiritual education brand…without the behind-the-scenes tech overwhelm that can stall growth for course creators.
So, with that clear goal in mind, Amy came to The Digital Navigator for support with:
- SEO, marketing, website design/redesign, site maintenance
- Conversion + tracking improvements
- Funnel building + automation setup
- Course setup + membership support
- Speed optimization + technical stability
- Ongoing strategic counselling (including hiring and operational support)
- Paid ad management and optimization
Specifically, she wanted to find out how we could help her:
Thanks to The Digital Navigator’s sales growth content and funnel strategy, Amy has since 2019 gained a simplified infrastructure she can keep scaling with confidence, without relying on duplicated automations, expensive tool stacks, or constant last-minute fixes.
…in fact, in 2025, Amy saw:
These were all excellent signals considering how much investment her social/community already has. The most valuable result, however?
The peace of mind, the stability, and the operational clarity Amy gained during launches and staffing transitions, because her systems were finally organized enough to scale.

But how did she do it?
The following course sales case study takes you along the journey through Amy’s long-term partnership with The Digital Navigator, starting with improving her student experience, then scaling marketing and tech systems using our sales growth funnel strategy, and finally building a content engine that brings consistent organic traffic.
We’re also going to show you how – with our support – Amy went from:
- A complicated setup with high monthly costs
- And a course experience that needed improvement for her students…
To:
- Launching and growing a podcast from episode 1 into a top traffic driver…
- And building a simpler, scalable system that reduces dependence on team members.
By running through this case study and hearing her story, you’ll discover techniques you can use to simplify and streamline your own marketing and delivery systems with or without our help, just like Amy.
Let’s begin!
The Challenge: Scaling Spiritual Education Without Tech Overwhelm
As I mentioned before, Amy is a spiritual coach, intuitive teacher, and mentor to a global community of spiritual leaders, healers, and creatives.
Over the years, she has built a powerful body of work centered around crystalline energy, the Akashic Records, and transformational education that helps her students build aligned spiritual businesses. She helps people connect deeply with their innate gifts so they can create abundance from the inside out, and then guide others to do the same.
Amy does this by delivering structured online courses, certifications, live launches, digital upsells, and an expanding podcast platform that supports her teachings. Her work has since attracted a committed global audience, but from the beginning her enrollment numbers were strong. Students were investing in her premium offers, including Sacred Awakening and the DNA Awakening Accelerator upsell…
…yet behind the scenes, her operational systems had evolved in layers. Her original course platform was not built on LearnDash, which limited flexibility and backend clarity. ActiveCampaign workflows required redundancy to offset platform outages which would impact student’s access to content and courses.
Not only that, but monthly CRM costs had exceeded $2,000 as her list expanded. Launch processes were not fully documented. When her long-time operational support person stepped away unexpectedly before a major campaign, it exposed how dependent revenue had become on memory rather than structure.

Although she had the expertise and demand, she was not fully confident that her infrastructure could sustain multi-million-dollar scaling. So she began asking a bigger question:
If the business continues to grow, will my systems support that growth, or slow it down?
Since she intended to scale aggressively, Amy knew she needed both improved delivery and a stronger marketing engine.
Luckily, she already had something critical to the content strategy we champion at The Digital Navigator: the willingness to invest in structure before pushing harder on traffic.
All she needed was experienced support to:
- Rebuild her course system
- Consolidate CRM workflows
- Strengthen funnel architecture
- Reduce overhead
- Rebuilt her website following coding best practices
- Formalize launch systems
- Expand organic visibility
With those aims in mind, Amy connected with The Digital Navigator through a referral from Elysia Hartzell and began working directly with founder Pol Cousineau (me!) to achieve a clear goal: scale revenue without increasing operational strain.
Here, we responded with a long-term plan focused on infrastructure first, scaling second. We mapped a multi-year pathway that blended technical stability, marketing execution, and strategic counsel with flexible capacity so Amy wasn’t overpaying during slower periods and still had support during peaks.
From there, our team set out to support Amy with a solution that would rebuild the structural backbone of her business! Here’s how it went next:
For course, membership, and expert-led businesses
The Compass

Patterns, decisions, and new resources on running connected systems for expert-led businesses. No filler, no noise.
Our Solution: Structured Infrastructure to Support Revenue Growth
From the outset, we focused on eliminating fragility inside the system.
The first priority was rebuilding the membership site. We transitioned her courses into LearnDash and reorganized the internal architecture. This improved the student experience and simplified backend management. Cleaner fulfillment meant stronger long-term retention and fewer support disruptions.
Once delivery was stabilized, we turned to funnel architecture. Amy’s product Sacred Awakening included an upsell to her DNA Awakening Accelerator at $297 (normally $497). However, customers were being prompted to purchase the upsell as a separate product with it’s own checkout flow, as opposed to presenting it as a same-page upsell.
So, we consolidated this by setting up a single product with variable subscription options (otherwise known as a 1-click upsell), which would alow customers to simply choose their preferred payment plan within the same product.
As a result, we reduced the needed automations in ActiveCampaign, which then reduced the burden of cost from using that software. In effect, we reduced the number of moving parts required to process a single purchase…
…and the financial impact was immediate!
ActiveCampaign costs that exceeded $2,000 per month at scale were replaced with FunnelKit infrastructure capable of handling high-volume email sends at approximately $300 per month.

Not that it stopped there. At the same time, we aligned ad campaigns with refined funnel pathways. Through structured Facebook ad management and a collaborative audience exchange strategy across aligned niches, Amy expanded reach efficiently during live launches.
Thanks to our support mixed with her passion and creative capacity, within one year, Amy executed two separate quarter-million-dollar launches with campaigns that were foundationally supported by:
And to do that, we supported an integrated stack including:
From there, infrastructure and marketing began reinforcing each other, and the alignment more than paid for itself a couple times over! But that was just the beginning.
Let’s take a look at how our collaborative long-term course sales strategy began compounding value even further as time went on:
The Process: From Sales Growth Funnel Strategy to 2K+ Flagship Program Sign Ups

After stabilizing delivery and funnels, we turned toward compounding visibility and welcomed Amy to our SEO Content Marketing Plan in June 2022. The strategy unfolded from there as follows:
- First, we conducted SEO diagnostics and a technical site audit.
- Next, we refined her website architecture. By leveraging all her episodes for keyword placements.
- We added summaries so we could create crawlable content.
- We leaned into podcast episodes since these were easier for Amy to produce
- Then we developed structured content briefs aligned to high-intent keywords tied directly to her revenue-driving offers.
We delivered a few content briefs, Amy wrote the content, and she passed them back so our team could handle optimization and publishing.
Simultaneously, we launched and structured her podcast more intentionally.
Over time, podcast pages became the most visited pages on her site. The show surpassed 160,000 listens and individual episodes consistently reached 600+ listeners, with one exceeding 3,500 listens!

Fast forward to 2025, and search engine traffic grew to 15% MORE than her social media traffic:

- Unique page views increased by 44.5% compared to the prior period, and

- Page-one keyword visibility improved by 7.8%.

That is why organic content marketing and SEO methods are more successful than paid ads in the long-term: because organic growth feeds course and membership launches with qualified leads who are actively searching for your subject matter.
Meanwhile (in Amy’s case) operational stability protected her revenue, especially when her long-time support person exited unexpectedly.
Here, we stepped in during an active launch window, audited workflows, created a formal launch checklist, and stabilized processes.
If you’re interested in a further breakdown, here is the step-by-step process we used. If not, go ahead and skip ahead to the results section to see how all of this work came together to net Amy over 2,100 new students to her flagship program in just 5 years!
Step One: Stabilize Course Delivery & Student Experience
Pol believed that if Amy improved the course experience, student satisfaction and operational stability would follow.
First, we:
- Rebuilt the course experience (early in the partnership)
- Improved course delivery so students had a better learning experience
Step Two: Simplify the Tech Stack & Reduce Duplicated Automations
Next, the team addressed the operational complexity Amy was carrying. We:
- Identified areas where workflows required duplicate automations and checkouts
- Reduced dependency on expensive third-party tools, and later shifted key operations to FunnelKit as the CRM/funnel hub
This eliminated redundant build work, reduced “wonky” tech issues, and created a cleaner, easier-to-maintain structurewhile saving five figures in annual CRM fees.
Step Three: Build the SEO Content Engine & Sales Funnel Growth Strategy
Finally, we built a content plan that included:
- SEO diagnostics and technical SEO improvements
- High-level content briefs and on-page optimization
- Ongoing publication of pages, blogs, and podcast content
This last step increased visibility for high-intent search queries, made Amy’s podcast content evergreen and discoverable, and even reduced long-term dependence on social-only traffic.
You can see the numbers below for yourself, with Amy’s homepage (/index) skyrocketing in page views in 2025, while the other pages we’d worked on to optimize and launch (including the podcast pages, the light-language-symbols page, and the sacred-awakening page) saw increases in page views, and more targeted leads:

In short, The Digital Navigator team and I carefully designed an SEO and content marketing structure that became a sustainable growth engine tied directly to Amy’s offers and audience.
Let’s look at how all of it came together in 2025:

As you can see, she ranked extremely well for key search terms in her niche the whole year through!
Revitalize your marketing strategy in 90 days
3 months of dedicated marketing for just $3,000
The Results: Over 2,100 New Students to Flagship Programs in Just 5 Years
All of these elements working together led to measurable revenue expansion in just five years. This is not too soon of an expectation to have for your business with the right processes in mind either!
Still, I want to go over everything with a fine-toothed comb, and really connect the dots between what we helped Amy do, and the benefits we both saw as a result:
Since September 2020, Amy’s business has drawn in over 2,100 new students to her flagship programs from all around the world.

…and like we said, in 2025 alone, Amy saw:
Not only that, but she saw a compounding increase in site-wide page visits, page views, and unique page views. Here’s a visits overview that measures late 2024 to to early 2025:

And another that we just pulled signalling the year over year gains:

And how much did she spend on us over several years to get more than 2,100 new students to sign up? Approximately $121,000.The truth is, she was able to scale her support with us based on her own business growth, all because we have plans for any stage of business you’re in.
All in all…
Amy’s return equates to roughly a 24–25x return on investment.
The revenue came from layered structural improvements that increased average order value, reduced operational breakdown risk, diversified traffic sources, and strengthened launch execution.
Amy’s plan (as with most of our plans) also included bug fixes and platform issue support without surprise invoices.
Our internal notes referenced $6k–$10k of non-billable tech support handled as part of maintaining this sort of stability (a perk of all our website management plans). That’s nothing compared to her take-home!
By collaborating with our team of digital marketing experts – including founder Pol Cousineau, leader of content strategy Andy Suarez, and director of operations (for funnels and tech) Kathleen Belisario – Amy built a foundation that supports consistent marketing execution, content growth, and scalable delivery.
In fact, Amy’s VA emphasized the savings and relief from tool costs, especially compared to ActiveCampaign’s monthly expense at scale.
All this was taken care of by The Digital Navigator, so Amy could stay focused on delivering her spiritual content, serving her community, and continuing to grow with confidence.
Free Growth Checklist: A Proven, High-Converting Funnel Strategy For Your Business
(The Exact Process We Implemented for Amy Robeson)
Download free growth checklist PDF
1. Rebuild the Course on a Scalable LMS (LearnDash)
What we did: Migrated Amy’s original course system into LearnDash and reorganized internal course architecture.
Why it mattered: Her old LMS limited flexibility and created backend confusion. Cleaning up module structure, enrollment logic, and access rules reduced support tickets and improved student retention.
Apply this: If your LMS feels patched together, rebuild before you scale traffic. Fulfillment stability protects revenue.
2. Eliminate Duplicate Product Checkouts, Automations & Page Builds
What we did: Reduced duplicate checkout processes, adjusted product variables, audited ActiveCampaign workflows, and removed duplicated automations and redundant email segmentation originally created to support upsells.
Why it mattered: Multiple automations increases error risk and complicates tracking.
Apply this: Map every purchase path. If a single product requires multiple automations to function, consolidate.
3. Replace Expensive CRM Infrastructure With FunnelKit
What we did: Transitioned core automations from ActiveCampaign to FunnelKit integrated with WooCommerce.
Financial impact: Email infrastructure dropped from $2,000+ per month to approximately $300 at scale.
Apply this: Forecast your CRM cost at double your list size. If scaling your audience doubles your overhead, restructure before scaling traffic.
4. Tighten 1-Click Upsell Logic
What we did: Refined Sacred Awakening’s upsell into a 1-click upsell to DNA Awakening Accelerator ($297 instead of $497) and aligned ascension pathways from Spirit Guides and Light Language Magik.
Why it mattered: Increasing average order value to free up budget for customer acquisition.
5. Document the Entire Launch Process
What we did: After Amy’s long-time support person left unexpectedly, we built a structured launch checklist covering ads, emails, checkout, automation triggers, and post-purchase access.
Why it mattered: Revenue no longer depended on a silo or one person’s memory.
Apply this: Write your launch process as if someone else had to run it tomorrow.
6. Align Facebook Ads With Clean Funnel Architecture
What we did: Structured campaigns around simplified funnels and implemented a collaborative audience exchange strategy within aligned spiritual niches.
Result: Two quarter-million-dollar launches in one year.
Apply this: Do not scale ads into messy backend systems. Clean funnel logic first. Traffic second. This is why our clients love our website service plans, which promise fast performance, CCPA/GDPR compliance, and clear UTM tracking.
7. Move Website From “Online Brochure” to Content Marketing & SEO Asset
What we did: Performed full marketing & technical audit + SEO diagnostics. Rebuilt page structure. Optimized high-intent revenue pages
Result: +7.8% page-one visibility improvement over six months, exceeding social media organic traffic by 15%!
Apply this: Optimize pages tied directly to revenue offers before publishing broad blog content.
8. Turn the Podcast Into Evergreen Search Infrastructure
What we did: Launched new podcast with continued optimization.Structured podcast publishing for SEO visibility. Optimized episode pages. Linked episodes strategically to core offers.
Result: 160,000+ listens. Podcast pages rose to become some of the most visited pages on the site. Search traffic exceeded social traffic by 16%.
Apply this: If you have a podcast, treat every episode like a search-optimized asset.
9. Build Ongoing Technical Oversight Into the Course Sales Strategy
What we did: Included continuous bug fixes, integration troubleshooting, and platform monitoring into our service plan without surprise invoices.
Result: $6k–$10k in absorbed technical support during active revenue cycles.
Apply this: Find a trusted website manager or host who will give you the technical stability you need to protect your launches. Budget for prevention, not emergency repair!
